Hello This is Mr. Hoover at Coolville with an important reminder. The Coolville Art and Spring Music Performance will be held this evening from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. We encourage everyone to come and see our students Art with doors opening at 5:30. Musical performances will begin at 6 P.M. We would like all 4th and 5th grade students to report to the music room by 5:50 P.M. As always we look forward to seeing our community and hope that you enjoy the performances.

Federal Hocking proudly announces that the Athens-Meigs ESC selected senior Isabella McVey as the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award recipient for Athens County! She attended a luncheon on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Lewis Center, OH, to receive her award, along with other high school students representing each of Ohio's eighty-eight counties. The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award was established in 1989 by Ohio's educational service center superintendents to recognize academic achievement, personal accomplishments, and community service. Congratulations to Isabella!

23-24 scheduling for current eighth graders and their families will take place on May 4th at 6:00 at the high school. Please plan to join us so your child can choose classes and so you can better understand graduation requirements.

Attention!!! Anyone interested in coaching or helping out with Federal Hocking Youth Football or Cheer must attend the Mandatory Coaches meeting next Sunday, March 26th, at 12:00 PM in the HS Atrium. We will go over new rules, regulations, and training that must be completed prior to anyone coaching or working with the youth. I must also have the coaches application filled out and turned in at the meeting. If you can’t print it out I will have extras at the meeting.

The date of the 2023 FHHS Commencement ceremony has been changed from May 26th to May 28th. Commencement will begin at 3:00pm. The original date created a conflict with the OHSAA Regional Track & Field meet.
2023.03.14 Federal Hocking Local Schools will operate on a 2 Hour Delay on Tuesday, March 14.
Mrs. Endick took 4th graders at Coolville Elementary to the Statehouse in Columbus. Students were given a tour of the Statehouse and were able to meet Jay Edwards. They ate lunch at Condados. It was such a fun day!
