Dear Federal Hocking Families,
Due to the March 19, 2024 Presidential Primary Election there will be no classes for students at Amesville Elementary School and Coolville Elementary School that day. This affects ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ONLY. Middle and High School Students WILL BE in session March 19, as normal.
On April 8, 2024 a total eclipse will be visible in our area. Because the maximum view of this would be during the afternoon ride home for elementary students, school will be dismissed early on April 8.

Amesville and Coolville Elementary Schools will be dismissed at 1:30 on Monday, April 8, 2024.

FHHS was fortunate to have guest presenters Brett Hill and Amedee Royer bring cultural awareness to our students using their first-hand knowledge of the people and customs of Ukraine. These musicians performed traditional Ukrainian songs that all of the Lancers thoroughly enjoyed.

Thank you also to the members of our local resources at Hopewell Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Center, Little Lancers Program and the Coolville Public Library who came to help support our families as well.

Mrs. Kibble's 4th grade class at Amesville experimented with sugar cubes today! Our "Sugar Shake" helped us to see what happens to a "rock" as it rolls down the side of a mountain.
Georgia Cupcake is a four day old baby goat. While visiting Ms. Erica's Preschool class some of the students fed her with a baby bottle. The students enjoyed petting her soft fur and watching her walk around the room.
