Dear Federal Hocking Families,
This week's school calendar will be adjusted due to the fact that we've already experienced nine calamity days and we anticipate more winter weather late this week. In order to capture as much time as possible with students school will be in session as normal Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Wednesday was going to be a professional meeting day for staff, but in light of the possible weather we are moving the staff development to Friday, February 4, 2022. Students will not have classes that day, but it will not be a calamity day and will therefore not need to be made up.
However, we will need to make up four days (so far). The first make up day will be Monday, February 21, 2022 (President's Day) and the second will be Friday, April 15, 2022. The two remaining days as well as any additional calamity days will be made up at the end of the school year. All of the changes are listed below:
Tuesday, February 1, 2022 - Regular school day
Wednesday, February 2, 2022 - Regular school day
Thursday, February 3, 2022 - Regular school day
Friday, February 4, 2022 - Staff Professional Day - No Classes for Students
Make-up Days
Monday, February 21, 2022
Friday, April 15, 2022
Tuesday, May 31, 2022
Wednesday, June 1, 2022
Please contact your child's school with any questions.
