It is an honor and privilege to introduce myself to you as the new principal for Coolville Elementary.  Coolville Elementary is such a special place with amazing staff, students and community.  I can’t imagine a better group of people to work with or a better group of students to help lead. Coolville has always had a positive culture and high expectations and I strive to not only continue this, but to build upon them.   

A little bit about myself…I have lived in Coolville since I was a child, was a student at Coolville Elementary and graduated from Federal Hocking High School.  I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Marietta College and obtained my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration at Muskingum University.  I have been a part of the Coolville community for my entire life and have taught at Coolville Elementary for the past nineteen years.   My husband and I have been married for eighteen years, live in Coolville and have two sons. This area has always been my home and I’m truly invested in helping it succeed!

Please mark your calendars for our upcoming Open House on Thursday, August 22, from 5:00-7:00 pm where you and your child will have the opportunity to find your classroom, meet your new teacher, see your friends, get information about the upcoming year and visit with community resources.    I am eager to begin working with you and your child in my new role as building principal and am looking forward to a great school year ahead.
